What is the best time to visit Krka National Park?

Weekday vs weekend:
On weekends, Krka National Park tends to be more congested with larger crowds. It is better to visit the park on weekdays when there are fewer people getting in the way of your photographs! Try to reach the national park at the opening time so you can begin exploring early, before the crowds arrive by late morning and midday.

Peak season vs off-peak season:
The best time of the year to visit Krka National Park is during the off-peak season months of April to June and September to October. These spring and autumn months have clear weather and fewer crowds than the peak summer season.

July and August (the summer months) offer the best weather to explore the park. But this is also the peak tourist season, and the park tends to become extremely crowded despite the daily cap on visitor numbers.

You can visit the park during the low season months from November to March. However, some areas might be inaccessible due to rain and snow during winter. Some of the park’s attractions are also closed for the winter months.
