Which is the best entrance to Krka National Park?

Lozovac and Skradin are the most accessible and convenient entrances to the national park. They are better connected by road than the others. Lozovac is the best option of you’re driving down, with ample parking available. Buses from Zadar, Split, and Trogir also stop near both entrances.

Both Lozovac and Skradin are located close to the park’s main attraction: the Skradinski buk waterfall. From these entrances, you can also easily explore the Roški slap waterfall, Visovac Island, and Krka Monastery, either on foot via the hiking trails, or by boat, bus, or car.

The Roški slap entrance is also a good option. Reachable by car, it is the closest entrance to the beautiful Roški slap waterfalls. From here, you can also access Krka Monastery, Visovac Island, and Skradinski buk by boat.

The Burnum and the Krka Monastery entrances are located further away and accessible only by car. They are not as convenient as Lozovac or Skradin in terms of accessibility to the park’s main attractions.

Keep in mind that since Lozovac and Skradin offer quick and convenient access to the park, they are usually busier than the other entrances, especially during the peak season in summer. Also note: on 1 January, only the Lozovac entrance is open for visitors.
